Put Freebies In Your eBook
By Dan Levy
If you’re like me and regularly shop online, you are familiar with free gifts. They are usually free bonuses offered to you to encourage you to buy whatever product is being sold. How do you find and put these gifts together to add them to your eBook? All it takes is three easy steps. They are:
1. Do searches on the Internet for free gifts that relate to the subject of your eBook. You are looking for gifts to put (link to) in your E-book. This will add perceived value to your eBook and make it more appealing to your visitors. Then, they are more likely to pass it on to their readers, or friends. As an example: If you sell garden supplies, you can find a planting guide that you can download and include eBook.
2. Identify each chapter’s keywords. Enter the keywords into Google, or any other search engine. What you are looking for is free eBooks on the subject of your keyword. But, an eBook that goes into more depth, one written by someone more knowledgeable than you, or one written from a different viewpoint or angle than yours. Then, link to some of these free eBooks throughout your eBook.
3. When you download the gifts, check out any freebie pages on the website. The majority of the sites that have freebies encourage you to redistribute them.
Besides the keywords that match your eBook, you may also want to search for freebies, free eBooks, and free reports. Then refine your results to be keyword specific, like “free reports for gardeners.”
You always want to give your reader more than they expect. Don’t just give them your eBook, give them extra reading material and the free gifts. Everybody loves a great deal. I do, you do, and so will your readers.
